Officers

Here's some background on the Eureka Lodge elected and appointed officers for the year of 2008.
Tom Eastman :: Worshipful Master
Tom Eastman became a Mason in Eureka Lodge No. 20 in 2001 and was elected Worshipful Master in 2008, and was re-elected for 2009. His father Jesse is a past Master of the Lodge, brother Fred is the Senior Warden, and son Tommy is the Junior Deacon. Tom is a retired Army Reserve LTC and is a retired manager from Ford Motor Company. He and his wife live in Snohomish.
Fred Eastman :: Senior Warden
Fred Eastman joined Eureka Lodge in 2000 (to the joy of his father, Jesse Eastman, a past Master of Eureka Lodge) and was elected Senior Warden in 2008. Fred has lived in the Pacific Northwest ever since moving here from the East Coast in 1961. Fred is retired from the window industry and enjoys remodeling the family homes. He and his wife, Teri, live near the center of the universe in Seattle's Ballard neighborhood.
Gordon Guthrie :: Junior Warden
Gordon Guthrie joined Eureka Lodge in 2005 and was elected Junior Warden for 2009. Gordon resides in Snohomish, Washington, with his family of 30 years. Gordon started his own business in March of 2006 as a water treatment consultant at Waterside Asset Management.
Rick Becker :: Secretary
Rick Becker was elected Secretary of Eureka Lodge in 2005, after serving as Worshipful Master. Rick became a Mason in 1975 and has been active in the Craft ever since. Rick is a lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest, born and raised in Seattle, presently residing in Bonney Lake and working for Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home in Seattle.
Al Smith :: Treasurer
Al Smith has been active with Eureka Lodge for more than fifty years, and was elected Treasurer in 2004, filling this office after Gordon Miley's 24 year tenure. Al also served as Worshipful Master in 1974. Al is a native of the Pacific Northwest. He was an Army Air Force pilot during World War II, and then an engineer for The Boeing Company for 34 years before retiring in 1984. He lives in Bellevue.
Dan Williams :: Senior Deacon
Dan Williams joined Eureka Lodge in 2006 and was appointed Senior Deacon for 2009. Dan also maintains the Eureka web site and is advancing the Lodge's charitable cause of science education. Dan is originally an East Coaster who moved to Seattle in 1988, worked in the software industry for about 15 years, and now has an outsourced medical billing business, Great Acclaim, LLC. He lives in the Bellevue area with his wife and children.

Tom Eastman, Jr, joined Eureka Lodge in 2007 and was appointed Junior Deacon for 2009.
Mac Macdonald :: Chaplain
Mac Macdonald joined Eureka Lodge in 2005 and was appointed Chaplain in 2007. Mac is a motivational speaker and counselor, an actor, and and a community activist. As President of the LYFE (Lighting Your own Fuse Enhancement) Company, he knows how important the ideals of Masonry are to the public good.
Dylan Ramsey :: Marshal
Dylan Ramsey joined Eureka Lodge in 2007 and was appointed Marshal for 2009.
Kris Haahs :: Senior Steward
Kris Haahs joined Eureka Lodge in 2007 and was appointed Senior Steward for 2009.
Robert Qualsund :: Junior Steward
Robert Qualsund joined Eureka Lodge in 2008 and was appointed Junior Steward for 2009.
Doug Searles :: Tyler
Doug Searles was appointed Tyler in 2008.
